The city of Millington is steeped in history. Astoria Development’s goal is to honor that history while
embracing the changing needs of the city. Astoria Square offers the community a modern place to live, work,
play, dine, shop, and gather. We envision a square offering beauty, safety, and convenience … a place where
one can entertain family, meet up with friends for a cup of coffee, attend a a happy hour or go for a jog or
bike ride. Comfort, modern sophistication, and style are hallmarks of Astoria Square.
No, Astoria Square is being funded and developed privately whereas Resiliency Park is being funded by local and state government funding, including grants. Resiliency Park will feature wetland habitat, walking/bike paths, picnic areas, observation decks, and a 5000-seat amphitheater that is slated to be complete by the end of 2023. Astoria Square abuts the park and will give its residents access to the park directly from the community.
Astoria Development recognized the growth taking place in Millington and knew that the city, already short on housing, needed a strategic partnership capable of imagining a development that would meet the needs of the community now and into the future. As the region’s city center; many pass through Millington on a daily basis or come from the surrounding areas to shop and use the services of local businesses. Astoria Development wants to be a part of this exciting time in Millington’s history.
The other attractive thing about Millington is its proximity to Memphis, the 269 Freeway loop, and Ford’s soon-to-be-built Blue Oval City. We endeavor to reclaim and revive a once-thriving part of the city and turn it into a destination with beautiful homes, specialized dining options, and unique shops for locals and out-of-towners alike.

Astoria Square is Astoria Development’s flagship development. As retired military professionals ourselves, we take great pride in turning this land, once home to our brave Navy men and women, into something the city of Millington and its citizens will be proud of.
Architecturally, Astoria Square will be no taller than three-stories. The exterior will be partially brick with lots of windows, bathing the homes and shops in natural light.
Aesthetically, we want the vibe to be inviting – think modern convenience meets ease and comfort.
